Officers believe the two vehicles parked in the area of Barrule View Terrace may have been struck by a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) heading towards the Ballamodha Straight on the morning of Saturday, September 28.
The constabulary is now looking to find out if any agricultural or HGV's were travelling through the area at the time and want to speak to anyone who may have more information about the incident.
Those who might have information which could assist authorities are being asked to get in touch with Peel Police Station or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
