The Wildlife Park has closed until further notice after the island's first case of avian flu was confirmed.
The Curraghs Wildlife Park said the case was discovered close to, but not within the park grounds.
Measures are now being put in place to protect the park's bird collection.
A spokesman added: "A decision on whether we open on Thursday the 20th will be made in due course".
In a recent statement the Manx government said an all-island surveillance zone has now been introduced and all bird keepers are advised to also house their poultry, practise good biosecurity and disinfect boots and equipment regularly.
it's the first time the H5N1 virus has been recorded on the island.
The island's chief vet, Amy Beckett said all bird owners are being asked to house their flocks while members of the public are warned not not to touch ill or dead birds as a precaution.
