There have been numerous cases reported of drivers speeding and some parents illegal parking outside the Islands primary and secondary schools.
Education and Children Minister Eddie Teare told 3FM news that it's frustrating when people don't stick to the 20mile per hour speed limits.
He hopes that people recognise they need to take extra care around schools when they are open. (audio above)
