A Tynwald panel has been set up to look at the money earned by Tynwald members.
The Tynwald Emoluments Committee has established it to review the emoluments of members of the House of Keys and Legislative Council, including all pay and allowances.
The government resolved in February last year it should be created and regard principles including how salary and benefits should be sufficient to allow anyone to serve in Tynwald and must be able to attract a diverse group of community members.
The body aims to report its findings by the end of this year.
