Tonight’s Positive Action Group meeting will look into how government can live within its means following a substantial loss to revenue.
The Scope of Government report that was commissioned in the aftermath of the ending of the VAT sharing arrangement has produced extensive recommendations as to where money could be saved.
Former MHK Edgar Quine was part of a team which carried out a review of the report, presenting government with its own recommendations.
The one time Ayre representative will deliver a speech on the findings at the meeting.
