A yellow weather warning is in place for coastal overtopping and some flooding this lunchtime.
Ronaldsway Met Office says it runs until 2.30pm today, with high tide and fresh winds expected to bring some problems.
At risk of overtopping are Shore Road in Rushen, as well as promenades in Castletown, Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey.
Forecasters say there could also be some minor flooding in low-lying properties near the Riverside Industrial Estate and Gardener's Lane in Ramsey as well as the Tongue in Douglas.
