Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says it'll be at least the end of March before the Northern Civic Amenity Site opens its re-use site again.
During Tynwald this week, he was quizzed on the future of the facility by Ramsey MHK Allinson about when the re-use facility which closed in August 2024 would reopen.
Mr Crookall said Ramsey Commissioners currently ran the site but a new operator was needed after they finish in March.
He said the department was looking for a new operator, and said Balladoole's problem wasn't unique:
Two ferries cancelled today, and more disrupted on Sunday
Two Sunday ferry sailings cancelled and two more at risk
Racers' leather company in liquidation
Two Saturday ferries cancelled, four rescheduled
Mountain Road partly reopens from this afternoon
