The Department of Infrastructure spent over £66,000 on road safety equipment in 2020.
That's according to figures from Infrastructure Minister, Tim Baker after a question from Arbory, Castletown & Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse in the House of Keys this week.
Just under £35,000 was used to purchase temporary traffic signs last year and £2,370 was used to buy traffic cones.
Meanwhile, £29,438 was spent for the short-term rental of temporary traffic lights.
Mr Baker adds the DOI purchases its own signage and safety equipment which is supplied to many events around the Island including motorsport events and the Royal and Southern shows.
