On average more than a quarter of all reception year school children on the Island are overweight or obese.
That's according to government figures released by Education Minister, Graham Cregeen, in the House of Keys earlier this week.
For the 2016/17 academic year, on average 25.1% of reception pupils at Manx primary schools were classed as overweight or obese.
The percentages were based on 864 children that were measured during that period.
