Over 130 young Manx athletes have joined the Sport Aid Academy two year training programme.
Teenagers aged 13-16 will train in sports such as rugby, swimming, gymnastics and football.
The programme has been running since 2015 and allows students to be nominated by schools or sport governing bodies to participate.
Students will learn skills such as team building, review performance, rest and recovery and physical preparation.
