A local charity has helped more than 1,200 birds this year.
In a post on social media, Manx Wild Bird Aid has reflected on 2019 and described it as a 'very busy year'.
1,208 birds were brought into its care over the last 12 months, while around 150 orphaned baby birds hand-reared by its rehabilitators went on to be released.
It's thanked all of its loyal supporters and anyone who told the charity's volunteers about a bird in need.
Lastly, MWBA says it's been tiring and 'heart-breaking' at times - but totally amazing.
