Police are appealing for help after 'considerable effort' was used to steal an outboard engine from a boat in Port St Mary.
The four stroke 2.3 horsepower Honda engine was taken from Clifton Road between Friday, January 3rd and Wednesday, February 12th.
Police say every precaution had been taken by the owner to ensure that it was securely fastened to the vessel.
Anyone who is offered a similar item for sale has been asked to contact Port Erin Police Station.
