One person was flown to the UK for specialist treatment by the Great North Air Ambulance Service yesterday after a crash in the west of the Island.
It happened on the Poortown Road in Peel just before 11am, sparking a response from the emergency services.
The route was shut for almost six hours as police and fire crews dealt with the incident.
The Air Ambulance Service says it's the second incident it's been called to since signing a new contract with Manx Care at the start of this month.
