A homeowner in Onchan is in trouble with the local authority about their overgrown bush.
At a meeting on Monday, October 6, members will be asked to consider taking action against the unnamed resident.
Officers say they inspected the hedge in August after a complaint and found it blocked half the pavement outside.
But after the resident refused to do anything about it despite a number of visits and letters, the board will decide whether to send an advocate's letter or serve an improvement notice.
