The Isle of Man Post Office is returning the Onchan post box back to gold.
It’s after the box was painted back to its original red earlier this week, sparking disappointment from the public and some MHKs.
It was made gold in 2012 to honour Peter Kennaugh winning a gold medal at the Olympics.
Chief Executive of IOMPO, Simon Kneen, says they are happy to listen to customers hope Mr Kennaugh and his family will be pleased with their decision to return the box gold.
