Preparations are almost complete to open a festive ice skating rink in Onchan this weekend.
The Manx Fun Farm, on White Bridge Road, will host the facility.
The rink is the only one on the Isle of Man so far this year - Douglas Council said it had been approached by a UK company about the possibility of having one in Noble's Park, but nothing has yet been announced.
The Onchan ice rink will open on Saturday.
