An Onchan commissioner says he wants to dispel rumours he's suspended from his civil service job for whistleblowing.
In a statement to the board, Scott Wilson said he's seriously concerned by the allegations.
He added he's already experiencing harassment and bullying over the claims, which he's reported to police.
Mr Wilson stressed the rumours have no bearing on his role on the local authority's board.
