A member of Onchan Comissioners has announced he's standing down.
James Cherry says the decision has been made for personal reasons, adding it was a difficult choice to make.
However, in a post on social media, Mr Cherry also commented he intends to 'return to the world of politics when the time is right'.
He's called it 'an honour to represent the people of Onchan' and is wishing the rest of the board well for the rest of the term of office.
