A butchers shop in Onchan has become the first of its type to back a campaign encouraging people to buy local meat.
Harding's Quality Meats on Summerhill Road is supporting the 'Make Sure It's Manx' initiative, which encourages shoppers to purchase locally produced beef, pork and lamb.
The campaign from Isle of Man Meats looks to make it easier for consumers to identify genuine local produce through clearer labelling and distributing leaflets and posters.
It's designed to compliment the provenance logos issued on items by the Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture.
