The old Fire Station in Castletown could soon be demolished.
That's the latest from Castletown Town Commissioners in a post on social media.
Earlier this year, it was confirmed a ‘community craft brewery’ wouldn't be established at the site because of the closure of Monkey Brew Co.
Now, the board says it 'intends to move forward' with an application for the demolition of the station.
The authority adds recent expressions of interest for the building will be considered for the town's 'long-term vision'.
It adds when the station has been demolished - subject to planning - it's thought the 'immediate' use will be short-term parking, whilst 'permanent options are considered.'
