The Office of Fair Trading is advising people over a potential safety risk to plug adaptors for certain Mac and Apple devices.
The organisation says Apple has been made aware of a possible issue with adapters shipped with devices between 2003 and 2010 where some have broken and exposed metal parts presenting the risk of causing electric shocks.
OFT says the affected ones are white with no letters on the inside slot were also included in the Apple World Travel Adaptor Kit and people should stop using them immediately.
