The Office of Fair Trading have issued a set of guidelines for anyone looking to buy a High Definition TV in time for Christmas.
They are finding they’re receiving more calls from people who have experienced confusion when buying the HD sets, with the confusion centring on how to then pick up the high definition TV channels.
The OFT want to remind people that you may also need extra equipment and depending on who you choose to get your programmes from you may also have to pay a subscription.
