People on the Island are being warned that one of this year's 'must have' Christmas presents poses serious safety concerns.
Hundreds of hover boards have been detained in the UK - the self-balancing scooters have had problems with the fuses, which increases the risk of the device overheating, exploding or catching fire.
There have also been major safety risks identified with the plugs, cabling, chargers, batteries and cut-off switches.
