OFT Say They Understand Reasons Behind the Hikes
The Office of Fair Trading have issued a comment on the price hikes announced today by Manx Gas.
They say that currently they're not endorsing the 5.5% increase of natural gas and 7.6% LPG hike, but are currently in communication with Manx Gas in an effort to understand the reasoning behind it.
The OFT have been provided with information supporting the hikes from Manx Gas, but they’re currently waiting on some more information to clarify a number of issues.
The tariff increases will come into force on October 8th.
