A nursery in Onchan has asked for rules governing the number of children it can cater for to be relaxed.
Beehive Kindergarten on Hillberry Road has applied to planners to drop a condition limiting it to no more than 55 youngsters at a time.
In its application, the facility says the condition was imposed in 1988 and the nursery has expanded significantly since then.
But it adds it's happy to accept new conditions to restrict noise levels for its neighbours.
