A Freedom of Information request has revealed the number of primary school students switching from school to packed lunches, following recent menu changes.
Overall figures show 76 youngsters stopped eating school meals between November and December.
Bunscoill Ramsey saw a 12 percent uptick in packed lunches with 17 students changing, but school meals remained popular at Sulby - which saw a 13 percent rise of nine students switching to the canteen.
It comes after Education Minister Daphne Caine announced changes to menus at the start of the current academic year, in an aim to make them healthier and contain less processed food.
