 
                            This weekend saw numerous records broken for the Island's team at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Emma Hodgson achieved a new personal best and Island record in the Women's 100m Backstroke with a time of 1 minute 4.82 seconds, while the Men's 4x100 Freestyle Relay team qualified for the final.
The team, made up of Joel Watterson, Alex Bregazzi, Harry Robinson and Peter Allen, went on to break the Manx record in Sunday's final and came 7th place.
In Gymnastics, Tara Donnelly went through to the final and finished 13th, improving on her scores from the qualifying round.
Cyclist Matt Bostock was involved in a crash during the Men's 15km Scratch Qualifying race and was admitted to hospital.
He was discharged yesterday but won't compete in today's 40km Points Race.
From 10:30am this morning Kiera Prentice, Peter Allen, Laura Kinley and the Men's Freestyle Relay team will take part in swimming heats.
