Weather Forces Delay on Track Laying
Building work at the NSC has hit a stumbling block due to the adverse weather conditions over the summer months.
As a consequence the completion of the new athletics track replacement has been delayed until Spring 2010.
The materials used for laying the track are very sensitive to moisture, and through not wanting to risk the tracks quality the delay has been imposed.
It’s anticipated the track will be completed in time for next years TT.
