The much anticipated flumes, leisure pool and splash zone will open at the NSC tomorrow.
After being closed for over three years for a multi-million pound revamp, the swimming area will be available during 90 minute sessions to ensure they don’t get too busy – slots can be booked up to a week in advance on the Manx Sport and Recreation website.
The new flumes have been designed with contrasting coloured translucent stripes to create a warp tunnel effect, and the ‘Coral Cove’ splash zone has a smaller slide for younger children to enjoy.
The official opening was expected to happen earlier this month, but was delayed due to issues with the sign-off process.
