Douglas hasn't had a bus station for more than 20 years - and now two plans are arriving at once.
Today, Tynwald voted to ask the Department of Infrastructure to draw up proposals for a facility in the capital and report back by December.
Developer Wyyttavin Limited of Ramsey has also applied for planning permission for a bus station in Lord Street.
Those proposals are part of a 14-storey apartments, leisure and retail development.
