Work has started on a new community project in the north of the Island which will help stop men becoming socially isolated.
Building work has started on the new hub for the Northern Men in Sheds initiative - it will be located in the grounds of Ramsey Cottage Hospital.
The building will be opened next year and will provide a base for men aged 55 and over to meet and socialise:
The Men in Sheds concept began in Australia in the 1990s as a way of addressing issues among retired men - on the Island it's run by the Live at Home Schemes.
