Skywatchers from the Isle of Man have been given a treat this week.
Further photographs, taken by David Gregory, show a spectacular sky over the Point of Ayre last night (Wednesday).
The lights, or Aurora Borealis, appear when atoms in the Earth's high-altitude atmosphere collide with energetic charged particles from the sun.
Other sightings have been reported in Peel, the west coast and Ramsey.
