'None for the road' plea from police

Motorists are being warned to think of the consequences if they're caught drink driving this Christmas.

Tonight hundreds of people are expected to frequent the bars, pubs and clubs around the Island as they finish for the festive break. 
 
However they're being urged not to drink and drive - Sergeant Steven Lapsley heads up the Roads Policing Unit; he says it's better to have 'none for the road':
