Two new ultrasound machines will be given to Noble's Hospital today.
It comes following the Henry Bloom Noble Trust donating £70,000 to purchase the ultrasound technology.
They'll now be used in the maternity unit labour ward, the neonatal intensive care unit and at outpatient clinics - offering greater capability, enhanced image quality and new features.
The technology is also used to monitor the development of babies during pregnancy, allowing parents to see their unborn child.
DHSC Minister David Ashford will be presented with the machines today at 4pm.
