Noble’s Hospital were yesterday able to reopen the Stroke Unit/Ward 7.
It had been temporarily closed due to issues with both staffing and bed availability.
From lunchtime yesterday all stroke patients who are undergoing acute treatment were returned to the ward.
Health Minister David Anderson has reassured the public that patients have not suffered as a consequence of the brief closure.
