There will be no weekend sailings to Birkenhead this winter.
The Steam Packet Company announced the news earlier today - saying it's due to 'essential' engineering works needing to take place in the UK.
The Steam Packet has been advised by Birkenhead Terminal officials work needs to be undertaken at weekends, meaning the Ben-my-Chree can't berth.
As a result, the fourteen timetabled weekend sailings to Birkenhead this year will now be rescheduled to Heysham.
The company has assured passengers affected by the change will be contacted.
