There won't be any routine appointments at GP practices across the Island this afternoon.
The Department of Health and Social Care says they won't be available between 1pm and 6pm as doctors attend their latest quarterly education session.
However, officials say those in need of an urgent appointment should contact their surgery to arrange a time with the on-call GP.
Practices will remain open during the afternoon to pick up prescriptions, test results and arrange future appointments.
