Routine GP appointments won't be available this afternoon.
It's as the latest training session gets underway between 1pm - 6pm.
Anyone who needs to see a doctor urgently is asked to ring their surgery for an appointment with the on-call GP.
Practices will remain open for patients to collect test results, make future appointments and order repeat prescriptions as normal.
The final session of the year sees the GPs and Practice Nurses join together to undertake training in preparation for the Covid Vaccination Programme.
