There are no plans right now to shut public parks in Castletown.
That's according to commissioners there who say sanitation of benches and play equipment has been increased.
The authority adds public toilets at the town hall and quayside are remaining open right now as the facilities can be maintained and it will allow residents to frequently wash their hands if they're outdoors.
Officials say they're working to make sure life in the town continues as normally as possible and are asking residents to give their support to frontline staff in shops and public services who continue to serve communities.
