Chief Minister Alf Cannan says he won't publish letters sent from the UK government querying the Island's assisted dying laws.
In the House of Keys this week he faced questions about correspondence from the Ministry of Justice which had delayed the legislation being given Royal Assent.
Although the laws were passed last March, questions over codes of practice, training and safeguards have been sent to the government from Westminster.
But Mr Cannan said the government doesn't publish details about Royal Assent discussions:
