The Economic Development Minister has confirmed there are no plans to contract out the running of the Villa Gaiety complex.
In Tynwald yesterday Laurence Skelly faced questions about the site following a tender process last year.
He said three interested parties had approached his department in October only to drop out of talks.
As a result government will continue to spend around £1.4 million a year running the site itself:
