Under current plans there will be no compensation offered to people who live or work in close proximity to the proposed onshore windfarm at Earystane and Scard.
Member for Arbory, Castletown and Malew Tim Glover put the question to Chair of the Manx Utilities Authority, Tim Crookall.
He wanted to know if there'd be financial packages offered to those set to have their livelihoods impacted by the development.
The MUA Chair was resolute in his response, that there are currently no plans to offer compensation for those individuals.
