The government says it's scrapping paying benefits and pensions in cash.
From next year, it'll axe the MiCard system and pay all benefits directly into a bank account.
Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson says around 3,000 people currently collect their entitlements at post offices, but switching to electronic payments will save the government half a million pounds a year.
Cash payments will stop being an option on January 31.
