The government says it doesn't have any correspondence from the UK government about sending immigrants here.
A detailed Freedom of Information request to the Cabinet Office asked for details about immigration quotas set by Westminster for the Isle of Man.
In its response the office said it didn't have any such correspondence.
However, it said the Treasury, Department of Infrastructure and local authorities may have information related to parts of the request.
