Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey says he has no idea how many people have been stopped or fined for smoking in their cars with children inside.
In Tynwald this week, he was asked for the figures by Garff MHK Daphne Caine.
She wanted to know how many people had been stopped or cautioned by police since lighting up in vehicles containing children was outlawed last March.
Mr Malarkey said police don't record the figures - and nobody has yet been fined:
