Authorities are warning residents against cutting down fences and tampering with gateways in the Manx countryside.
Officers in the North of the Island have taken to social media with images of a fence which appears to have been ripped away from part of the post it was attached to.
The constabulary says doing so is a criminal offence and also causes issues for the livestock that farmers care for out in the fields.
Police add there's 'no excuse' for such behaviour and people should only use allocated pathways and greenlanes when out and about.
