Education Minister Daphne Caine says problems with cracked tiles at the National Sports Centre swimming pool won't be sorted out before September.
In Tynwald this week she faced questions about the long-running problem, and revealed £13,000 has been spent so far trying to find out what's causing it.
Mrs Caine says the Department of Education, Sport and Culture is now considering a specialist report and talking to contractors.
But she admitted the problems will not be solved soon:
