There's no contract for local businesses to supply Noble’s Hospital with hygiene products.
The contract was raised in a Freedom of Information request.
Manx Care explained items like disposable gloves, toilet tissue and hand sanitisers are generally bought from the NHS supply chain.
It says this is because the items need to be compliant with standards.
