Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood says there are no plans to restrict larger vehicles parking in residential areas at weekends.
She faced a question for written response from Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas about her department's policy.
She said draft proposals for restrictions on parking big vehicles had been sent to local authorities.
But after a consultation in 2023 her department decided not to change its policy.
