There will be no free electricity for Manx residents on Saturdays despite British Gas eyeing a similar idea in the UK.
The energy giant is looking to give hundreds of thousands of customers free electricity for one day a week.
However the plans have been criticised by authorities here who claim the deal is a PR exercise that includes hidden charges - meaning no saving for customers.
